Hey everyone! Welcome to Lore! We are officially ready to do a soft opening! I know there are definitely bugs and things to fix! If you see anything wonky please report it here. Please look over our guide and let me know if anything needs to be explained better or if there are things we need to add! I am always open to suggestions as well! For those that were here at the start and read over everything I encourage a reread of the setting page at least! We did some major revamp to our story and did away with some founding packs in favor for member created ones!
The world of Valyria has just experienced the Darkening. In summary, this is the shattering of their souls. Everyone will lose their soul relic, a part of the soul that enabled their deep connection to the Moonflow and to each other. Without it, they are unable to communicate as they once were, making the outlanders and those born closer to the Moonflow have almost separate languages. It has made everyone mortal once more. and the rift between the mortal and immortal has both narrowed and widened in many ways. Immortality and aether are gone, setting everyone on a very equal path. As this is the current setting for the site, your first threads can be your characters truly experiencing the Darkening. It should be a truly painful and weakening experience, with many wolves not surviving it. It has caused many packs to break up with the devastation to their numbers and an over all sense of terror to grip the land.
To kick things off and help members start earning some Runes we also are having our first advertising contest!
